Turn down the volume before starting
Check the system volume and headphone fit. The Signal test starts at a small digital level, but the final volume also depends on the amplifier and device. Don't increase it suddenly if you don't hear anything at first.
Select the left channel, stop the signal, then the right one. Each launch is limited in time. The test checks the playback path and does not evaluate hearing.

Do not draw a conclusion about the malfunction before comparing with another source. An incompletely inserted plug, adapter, or incorrectly selected output can change the behavior of working headphones.
For wired and wireless models
For a wired model, check the connector and adapter without applying any force. For a Bluetooth model, check the charge of both headphones and the current connection mode. If audio is coming from your monitor or docking station, make sure your system has selected the correct output.
Different programs may use different output devices. The sound in the browser only confirms the current path. If the problem persists with one player or game, check its own settings and available channel modes.
What this test doesn't measure
The page generates a signal, but does not listen to the physical sound in your headphones. It cannot automatically estimate left speaker volume, distortion, frequency response, or hearing status. The absence of an audible tone at a particular frequency is not suitable for independent medical inference.
To check other tone is available frequency generator, but you should start from a comfortable level. If, after correcting the route, problems remain only during a call, check the headset settings in the application and separately microphone.
