How to take the test
- Enable native screen resolution and page scale to 100%.
- Compare color and black and white stripes in both directions.
- Note the observation and repeat after changing one connection parameter.
How to understand the result
The visual check does not read RGB, YCbCr or HDMI format. Scaling, matrix, sharpening and image processing can all affect the results.
Compare multiple runs under the same conditions. Then change one factor: connection, device, or setting. If the symptom persists, repeat the test on another device and save the conditions - this will help to more accurately describe the problem to support.

Can a website find out the current HDMI format?
No. The browser shows test samples and you evaluate them. The exact format must be checked in the settings of the video card and device.
Why are the black and white stripes blurry?
First check the scale, native resolution and overscan. The overall blurring cannot be used to confidently judge color subsampling.
Can I use a screenshot?
The screenshot may be taken before the output signal is converted and may not show the display problem. Look at the screen itself or use an external photo for comparison.
