When the comparison makes sense

The working file takes a long time to load, although the usual speed test shows a good number. First, separate the bandwidth from the delay: the first affects the duration of the transfer of a large file, the second affects the wait for a response. For video communication, delay fluctuations and unanswered samples are also important.

The signal node may be far away from you, and our result relates to the way to it, not to the maximum speed of the fare, not to every work service, but to the address of the node, the time and the selected conditions.

Repeated measurement order

  1. Connect your laptop to power, shut down cloud sync, downloads, and other tests, and check the rest of your mobile package on your phone.
  2. Select a small traffic limit and measure the basic working connection. Click Save as Basic.
  3. Change only the connection that is checked. The site does not install programs or change network settings.
  4. In the same tab, do a second measurement with the same limit. Download the comparison.
  5. Repeat the series again. If the scatter is large even without changing the connection, check the Wi-Fi and background processes first.

How to read the difference

If the base rate is 50 Mbit/s and the repeat rate is 35 Mbit/s, the change is minus 30 percent. This is an arithmetic comparison of two observations, not an assessment of the quality of the service provider. A zero or no base rate is not suitable for calculating interest.

High download speeds at poor outbound speeds can interfere with video sending. Good speeds at RTT jumps can be accompanied by pauses in conversation. Continue check the delay through the VPN or precipitation.

What to pass on in support

Enter the time of the problem, the type of connection, the results of repeated episodes and the name of the application in which the delay was noticed. indicate whether it is observed on another device. Do not publish tokens, access configurations and full logs with personal data. The graph helps describe the problem, but does not identify the culprit by itself.
