How to understand the result
The offset is selected by a person. The browser does not measure end-to-end Bluetooth latency or change other app settings. Screen frequency and load affect the comparison.
Compare multiple runs under the same conditions. Then change one factor: connection, device, or setting. If the symptom persists, repeat the test on another device and save the conditions - this will help to more accurately describe the problem to support.

No. You select the subjective offset of the sound relative to the image in this combination of browser, screen and audio output.
What does negative offset mean?
The sound is played before the visual signal. A positive value shifts the sound later.
Do you need microphone resolution?
No. The test only plays a short sound and shows a dot; doesn't record anything.
